Making Money with XBOX360

It seems there are threads saying that many stores will be getting their next shipment in a week or two. Do you think if someone can make money if they bought it then, and tried to resell it on Ebay? I checked prices today (release date) and I've seen prices range from at least $1300 to sometimes $2000. And this is JUST for the premium package with no extra games, ect.

In 2 weeks they will be sold out just as fast as today. I think they will be getting a pretty dollar until Christmas...

Second, the prices on Premium systems have already come down to around $900- I'd expect them to continue to fall until it gets to be Holiday gift purchase time. I'd say to hold your Xbox till middle of December to make real money.

We will see. They have come down lately but it 1AM EST so I don't see as many people up and bidding...

Yes, this is quite discouraging given the timing of my auction's end in 4 hours.

I'm just concerned that a second shipment will drive the price down mid-December...

I'd imagine KeithA wished he got more than $810 for his....which ended at a more reasonable 10am...

I don't think the 2nd shipment will be any different than the first. I think they'll sell out again in the morning and everyone will rush to eBay. I think maximizing your money comes down to getting lucky but there is going to be a lot of people that want one and can only get it on eBay...

its be madness around christmas when all the kiddies are like "mommy i want an xbox 360" and there wont me any so 4 or so of these momies will be bidding the heck out of any auction... id wait till december 22, w/ 1 day shipping... just my thoughys
