White! If I use a border for any image, it has to be white. It makes the photo stand out more.
The black takes away from the photo and it's colors. Notice how my website has a light shade of grey? It's to help make the photo stand out. )

kinda like the black one a bit more...but both of the borders are a bit too plain for my taste.

the black makes the contrast a lot better, and the center seems to have a nearly God-like presence/light in it, that you'd see in early American painting.

I'm leaning more towards the Black also. The trees kinda look like they are coming from the border and to me it kinda feels foreboding.

I agree with the black, it makes the light that sinks inbetween the trees seem brighter
Yea, the black looks alot better in my opinion.

deffinatly the black, and awesome picture man... that looks really great. like you said, the trees look sorta like they are coming from the boarder, and the whole picture just flows better.

The white...which is saying a lot because I almost always prefer black. The black makes the picture look more gloomy...so unless thats what you're going for, use white.

Black. It looks so much cooler because the "black" colored trees are coming out of this black border and it makes the image so much better.
With the white the focus of the image is more of the sky and with the black the color of the leaves are the focus (which I think is the better aspect of the image). All personal opinion.

I like both, I think the best border depends on how the photo is used.
Just by itself, I would take black. The effect of the trees pointing to the center seems to be strengthened by the black border, and colors become more focused as well (dark outside, brighter inside). However, black borders always make me think of those cheezy motivational posters (go to http//www.despair.com/ for de-motivational posters).
The white one could be used well for commercial apps like websites, cards, album art, etc...
For a photo like this... Always use the white border.. Nature photos and white border go great together.. Its when you use a black border that it looks like [bc61eda3063]shit[/bc61eda3063] (not shite) lol
