2 songs by same artist, only 1 shows up on ipod

so i have 2 songs by white stripes on my ipod. when i order by artist, only 1 of them comes up. when i order by songs, theyre both there. i went to apple today to ask them and they insisted that the only possible way in hell this happened is if my id3 tags are junked on the one that dusnt show up for artist. well i came home and verified wat i already knew was correct, and indeed it was correct. went back but the geniuses were gone for the night.

anyone have any idea why it would be doing this, since apple dusnt seem to even know?

are both the artist tags spelled the same?

and.. uhh... is there two white stipes listings maybe?

Had the same problem, and like they told you, it might be the songs tagged incorrectly. I had to use Winamp to tag the files correctly and then they ended up showing up forever.

both tags have the artist spelled the same, i even cleared it out and rewrote it. i checked the tags in winamp and did them there too, no difference.

i concur. the song with the lego music video was ok but they arent that good. the singer needs to shave his face. his facial hair looks all white trashy like but what can you expect...

The White Stripes are amazing.

Listen to De Stjil and The White Stripes albums. Downright dirty blues-rock.

Their newer stuff is nowwhere near as good as their original stuff, but for some great garare blues-rock check out The Black Keys wink
