I just read this quote in another thread

[quotec712166c42="JUNIOR6886"]You did LEANLIFE PM lol lol lol lol lol im 100% positive you will be getting charged up the ass soon.... lol lol[/quotec712166c42]

Any one else have problems with this company? I opted out near the end of my trial, as was my right, and they still charged me $100 and won't answer my e-mails or phone calls. I'm in the process of making a case with my bank as it seems like the only way to solve the problem.

Comments and bitching welcome.

Hmm...I did an offer with them about a week ago. After seeing this I sent them an email right away. I'll let you know if I have any further problems with them. Which site did you do this offer through? And did you get credit?

It was earnfreegamingsystems, and yeah i still got credit. What good is the credit if I get ripped off for a hundred bucks!?

Be aware. I've sent them 4 or so e-mails and 2 phone messages and they have failed to contact me for over more than a week's time.

Okay, good deal. I'm gonna call them tomorrow too and see what's up. Getipod4free needs to be aware of this offer so I'm going to let them know if I have any problems with this.

I tried to call them 3 times (they never picked up) and emailed them 3 times and they still billed me, yay for chargebacks

I did this offer without any problems. They replied to my e-mails and I was never wrongly charged.

Do a search for lean life. You will see a huge amount of people have been scammed by them. I had to do a charge-back with my CC from these assholes.

I did this offer and I got credit for it, I never for the stuff though and they had NO support, so I sent an e-mail to them becuase I wanted to cancel and they cancelled my trial.

I had referrals that were charged for doing this offer though

Well a good sign is that when I emailed them an hour ago I got an immediate auto-response saying that they received my email so we'll see. Also, unlike many people I DID receive a confirmation email from them right after I signed up, confirming that they charged my card for the shipping and handling and that they received my order. Still, I'm calling them tomorrow as well to make sure they don't charge me. It's a good thing I caught this now on this forum.

They're talking about this offer over at freebieauthority too

We seriously need to let any site that is carrying this offer know that they're scamming people, guys.

as long as leanlife pays the freesite the freesite doesnt give 2 shits wheather leanlife scams you or not.... ?

on a positive note if you are using a credit card to do the offer just bitch to your CC company and theres a good chance you can have the charge reversed. If you are using a DEBIT visa or mastercard (they can be used as credit cards only the ammount charged is auto deducted from your bank account, useful in situations where debit cards normally arent accepted) [/sizece6b7217b1] your totally fucked in the ass...

Well anyways, I'm gonna keep working to make sure I don't get charged.

That is not true. I used my Wells Fargo Visa Check Card to do this, and did get over charged by lean life. I called Wells Fargo, and they did a reversal, after i sent them copies of my emails with no responses.

Awesome. I have a Wells Fargo Visa Check Card too. I'm tempted to call them beforehand to let them know that I may get an unauthorized charge.

Another thing to consider is maybe having that card cancelled and have Wells Fargo send me a new one.

I finally got an auto response tonight too. And they finally confirmed my cancellation. I am still working on getting my money back. Here is a copy of their auto-reply, notice they make a point about no refunds. Yeah what they don't say is that they purposely didn't respond to you until they charged your card

[quote7ad8f04c61="LeanLife PM"]Thank you for contacting us!

Please note that this is an auto-reply message. Please do not reply to this e-mail.

REFUNDS If you are contacting us regarding the charge to your account please note the Terms and Conditions of the auto-ship club clearly posted at LeanLifePM.com.

There are no refunds on the auto-ship product. However, if would like to send the unused product back within 30 days of your purchase we will refund you the purchase price (less the $6.95 shipping and handling charge). Please be aware that if you signed up for this product for a free gift you will not receive your free gift once we credit your account. Once we receive the returned product a credit will be issued within 5 business days. So that we can credit the proper account please include your full name, address and transaction ID. Returned product should be sent to

I saw that on their site but I haven't called em up yet. I'm gonna call them early afternoon tomorrow when they SHOULD be open for business. I'm going to leave a message but I'm also gonna call over and over again to see if I'll have any luck getting a live person.

Yeah i've called it twice on a couple separate occasions...waited for like 10 minutes both times and then left messages on their machine. Never spoke to a live person though.

UPDATE

I just received a phone call back from LeanLife PM saying that they received my request for cancellation (Disclaimer Because I legitimately tried out the offer and unfortunately was not interested any further), and they said that I'm cancelled and done with LeanLife PM. They said the only charge I will receive is the $6.95 for shipping and handling. I also requested the c word well before the 14 days were up, so it's all good.

Hopefully they're not lying out of their ass and everything is taken care of....we'll just have to see.

they are a piece of crap company, too many people have complained.

they are still trying to charge me months later but i wont let them )

and my poor mothers bank account is actually days away from being closed, the piece of crap review department of bank of the west and the people that run the bank accounts are apparently seperate people and they want to close her account before the investigation is up which has already been like 6 weeks. so much for that visa logo.

JUNIOR6886

thats life man... leanlife was scamming people long before you did the offer... you should do your homework on an offer before handing out your CC info. If you have any doubts get a visa giftcard for the offer....

ajrock2000

22-11-2005 13:30:47

use a virtualcc for the offers you are not sure about, I did leanlife a while back with virtual cc, I requested cancellation by email and phone, no response on either. Only difference is, once they went to charge me, well, they coudn't. lol

JUNIOR6886

22-11-2005 13:35:45

this is not to say that EVERY offer should be done this way. If you are seriously considering signing up for a service and are not just trying to get a quick green, use your real CC unless the company has a HISTORY of fraudulanent charges......

ajrock2000

22-11-2005 14:08:44

Yeah, exactly....just do your homework...

I've also had a problem with LeanLifePm. Tried the offer Nov. 16 cancelled using their online form on the 25th. Never received a confirmation email and was charged 99.90 on dec. 1. Mad i tried calling their number 909-930-3087. When you call this number it rings and then gives you some musak for 10 minutes and when noone picks up they let you leave a message with your number and problem saying they will call you back.

I called and left messages 4 times over 3 days. I emailed then and got nothing but their crappy autoresponder. So i decided to do a little research. They're a company named JAB Ventures based in utah. However, they use a company named Nova Pointe to do all of their business.

Nova Pointe is based in ontario, california and they have a 1800 number. 877-968-4628 -- and you dial 0 to get an operator. If you ask to talk to LeanLifePm customer service they will forward you to the 909 number. Once again I talked to a machine but this time i was pissed. I left a message saying that their company sucked and that I was contacting the Better Business Bureau, my bank, and their affiliate nova pointe then i hung up angrily (if indeed you can hang up a cell phone angrily).

Then i called Nova Pointe again to talk to the operator and she said that she could help me in about an hour deal with LeanLifePM so I said i'd call back. Well 15 minutes later I got a call from who else...LeanLifePM! I told her the situation and she asked me for a copy of the email I sent them telling them I wanted to cancel before the trial period ended. I had no such email since I used their online form. (So I would suggest to anyone to send out one of these emails if only for future forwarding.)

She said that she sees that the pills haven't arrived yet (mind you this is almost a month since i ordered the free 14 day trial) and that when i get them to send them back priority mail for a refund. I am going to do this and we'll see how it works.

LONG STORY SHORT Don't do leanlifepm, but if you have to, use a prepaid card, and keep track of all your emails to them.
