So everyone who's owned an ipod for awhile knows that if you maually pull songs off your friend's library, it deletes them if you update your ipod with your library. There is some software that lets you pull songs from your Ipod to your computer. This thread asks what the best way to do that is. Thanks guys

heres the simplest way to do it. Connect your ipod to your computer, go to my computer and click on your ipod. Go to the top and click to display hidden folders, then there will be a folder named 'Ipod Control' go in there and then there will be a folder called music, copy those folders to your computer and there you go!

I tried that and you're right, they're there, but the filenames are all jacked

Is there a free one, cause anapod says the trial version won't let me transfer to PC. Or should i try to bittorrent it ;)
