Looking for speakers for a new Desktop... Looking to spend under $50. What do you guys suggest?

You can get Logitech surround 5.1 X-530 or other better sounding 2.1 speakers for $50. I wouldn't recommend the x-530 for music though, you're better off getting something like the Z-3i.

I got a pretty decent 2.1 CyberAcoustics setup from RadioShack a few months ago for $30. With some EQ adjustment in Winamp or iTunes I don't see how they would differ from a pair of Logitechs in terms of sound quality.

lets just say for $50 you wont get anything good for music. Gaming will be sufficent as long as your not hardcore, dvd will be "livable"

Also pair it up with a nice soundcard and your set
