Well I have a paypal account and I always use my dads visa to pay for stuff. I was looking at the PayPal ATM/Debit Card and it looks pretty cool, except I dont know much about it.
For anybody who has one, do you like it? DO they charge you anything? Its going to be under my name, do you have to be 18? WIll they let me pay with it in stores eventhough im not 18?
Any help or info is appreciated, thanks in advance

they don't card you for debit purchases.

Lets say you send me money to my paypal account, can I transfer that to my debit card? Or whatever I have online is what I can spend on the card?

I cant seem to get a paypal debit card. I have a premium account but still cannot find the option to apply for a debit card using paypal.

Is it limited to USA accounts only? As im in UK.

This would not be an open line of credit, correct?

Why would a debit[/size77596358bd] card open a line of credit[/size77596358bd]?

A line of credit is something you get when you have patterns in your credit use (credit cards, borrowing money you don't have.)

A debit card is only for money you have available to you.

Thank you for the bold and size 18.

I'm fully familiar with the differences between credit and debit cards, I just wanted to make sure that this would not open a line of credit in addition to the debit functionality. My [b2a75e69008]account[/b2a75e69008][/size2a75e69008] with Bank of America includes a nominal line of [b2a75e69008]credit[/b2a75e69008][/size2a75e69008], and I am not interested in another one of [b2a75e69008]those[/size2a75e69008][/b2a75e69008].

I was just trying to point out the obvious differences so you could try and use your intuition to figure it out for yourself next time. Sorry that you didn't like my size 18.

And it wasn't bold.

Usually takes around 2 weeks. I've been through 4 of them / They're really sparkly though, so it's cool when you get 'em.

I think that's the paypal credit card.. debits dont usually give cashback.

I'm PayPal Preferred... I get 1% back on my debit purchases excluding purchases that require a PIN number to be entered. I also earn 3.89% on my balance monthly (money market).

i don't like the card look.. i use it for 80% of my purchases.. the other 20% is cash.

All my money goes into my paypal account, unless I receive cash from teaching piano lessons, etc.

They've never offered 5% cashback on the debit card. The most was 1.5%, and whoever got the debit card before the rate was changed (like myself) is still on that 1.5% rate.

I have the paypal debit credit card.
It is awesome.
You can use it like a credit card to complete offers online and stuff, or just as a normal debit card for non-online use.
The paypal debit credit card is only available to respected paypal members that have beem members for more than a year and have a credit card and possibly a bank account I beleive hooked up to your account.

that's not true... i got mine after about 90 days. all that matters is if you're verified (eg. cc and bank account attached) and have some volume in your history (eg. few hundred bucks).

my porblem is simply that when i apply for the card, I get a "Due to heavy site load.."
