So. I've had the new video iPod since the first day it was released. But I'm scared to take it out (as the screen is a lot more fragile than on the 4G iPod) until I have a case.

I have come across only two cases to date, neither of which I'm interested in. I'd love some links to others. (Not looking for skins, btw).

It's not really a case, but a "sleeve", according to the guy at the apple store when I bought it. I agree.

Yeah I've seen the "case" it comes with it's basically a sleeve, keeps it protected from scratches from your pocket

and from what i've heard about them is that they suck. id still go with an invisible shield. you can protect your ipod from scratches and such without having a thick skin covering and hiding the beauty of an ipod. XD

So I ordered the iSA[=http//www.zcover.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=204]iSA, which should be coming soon.
It's a little pricy, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a $300 iPod sitting on my shelf, plus it has pretty much everything I want in a case.

I read about how it's easy to get bubbles stuck under it if you don't do it right but other than that it's really nice.

i got it and tried it out. the back side of the protector is very useful, since it doesnt allow scratches on every part of the back shiny silver part. BUT, the front just looks nasty.

try to get a case that fully covers the ipod. i had one that had the top open; stuff got into the case and scratched the screen.
