So I have the Sony Cybershot DSC-17[=http//www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=DSCT7&Dept=cameras&CategoryName=dcc_DIDigitalCameras_Cyber-shotDigitalCameras]Cybershot DSC-17 and I took it to a concert a while back. Well it got a little beat up, and now I can no longer take pictures. The problem is, the camera always thinks that the shutter is closed even if I have it down, therefore it wont let me take pictures. Anyone know how I can get it fixed if even possible? I dont want to worry about sending it in to Sony, Id rather pay for someone local to fix it. And how much do you think it would cost?

you should have bought it from best buy with a product service plan

</blatant advertising>

bring it to a local camera shop, they'll charge you an arm and a leg but it's better than a broken camera

It's possible to fix. I had something similar happen to my Nikon camera. I had to send it back to Nikon and they fixed it for free since it was still under their own warranty. Good luck! As long as it powers and the lense is not broken, it's fixable.

Going vegetarian was one of the best decisions ive ever made. If you are going to judge vegetarians, well then your an asshole.

eh im not judging vegetarians.. vegetables rock.. especially those broccolis in salads.. mmmmmmm

however... imo

cows were put on the earth to eat.. as were chickens.. pigs are gross. because i dont like sausage.

but also.. not trying to argue here, just my point of view.
