Most laptops will let you use faster memory, since it may be easier to find them. PC3200 may also be compatiable with your laptop. You wont be able to utilize the power though. Your referring to SODIMM right?

I made a deal with a guy off fatwallet. Got 2x512 for $84 shipped. Though a few days later i learned i cant use one of them since i was unwilling to open up my computer (other slot under the keyboard) so i'm currently using 768mb, not bad though.
