Is Newegg The Best?

My Cyberpower PC from Freepay should be arriving by the end of the week and I need one of these

I already have one in another of the computers in the house and it works fine, but does anyone know of somewhere with a better price?

Or is there a better card I could get? I can't afford much more than the one on Newegg ($54 shipped).

Usually you can find the same thing cheaper on bizrate or ebay. If you had bad experiences with ebay like many people have, then just look on bizrate.

haha, yea...but sometimes it's not possible to run a cable through your house to your modem (that is on another floor).

Well when you're living in someone elses house who doesn't want holes drilled in their walls and cables running along the floors, walls and ceilings to another floor, then this is the only option I have left.

Anyway, the only problem with eBay is that it might not be here in time and you can never really know how long it might take. With an authorised seller or national chain, you usually know where you stand. Plus Newegg has great shipping.

Linksys is alawys expensive, though its well spent money. Since you dont want a card that drops connection.

There are also cheaper ones though........though you do lose certain features (Performances)

Does it have to be linksys? You can get a D-link one for $31 after rebate at newegg. Otherwise, get it from buy.com especially if you live in the northeast as they can get stuff to you fast.

Make sure to get Call of Duty 2. I just tried it last night, and it's pretty good. It lags a bit even at 640x480 on my P4 2.4 with 9800pro so I have some tweaking to do. Hope your cyberpower has more power. What vid card will you have?

It doesn't HAVE to be LINKSYS but I just thought that you get what you pay for and there is a reason the other brands are cheaper (cos they are shiter).

I have a USB wireless on here, and it sucks ass. Make sure to stay internal.
