album art in itunes?

is there an app of some sort for mac or pc that can search online like at wherehouse music and get the album art and put it in the info in itunes so i dont have to? i have this nano with a color screen but i want the album art for whatever reason. i have roughly 100gb of music so it would take weeks to put it all in myself.

i don't think so... 100gb is a LOT of music to put album art on

i have 7gigs and it'd take me a good 5 hours.

u cant fit 100gig on a nano..lol im not shure if they have that tho...

i know i cant fit that much music on a nano but i am constantly transferring songs to and fro.

go to amazon.com and just search each album, highlight all the songs of hte album and drag it in. It took me about an hour to get caught up on 800 songs and nw i do it whenever i rip a cd.

this program does a decent job of adding art...but i would not do it all at once...i would do each album by its self and only choose 1 track and then once you get it...copy the art...then select the rest of the album and then paste it in...

the 1st time i selected the entire library and 1 it took forever and 2 i would have different images for the same album...for instance...nirvana nevermind had the us cover for half and the japanese cover for the other half...same picture of the kid...but i had a buncha japanese charactures on it

I just downloaded a program last night called MusicLabel2006.

It categorises your entire music collection (well whatever you have on your computer and/or any CD's you want to add manually) and you can get the album art with it.

I'm not entirely sure though if you need the album art on your computer, or if it gets it online though shrug

yea i just went to wherehousemusic.com and got the covers. i just select all the music i want, command+i, and drag the cover from firefox into the album art box )

yah, use the itunes album art importer
it's great for well known songs, searches amazon and auto download it for you....
just highlight the songs on your ipod, and click the magnifying icon, be sure to check the 2 options listed... )

i wish itunes automatically looked them up like windows media player does.

Iart is one of the best programs that does this but it costs 10 dollars.
