the videos are a little less than a normal tv's res.
you need a new jack thing that can be had from apple or radioshack.

the tiny screen is like 350xsomething yadda yadda and a tv w/o high fef is like 640. so its about half. its not that bad...

You are forgetting the shittiness of SDTVs
640x480 is standard SDTV, and iPod Video is 320x240, so exactly half the quality. Which will be barable for most stuff like cartoons.

next year, around the same time, Mr. Steve Jobs will appear to pull another rabbit out of his hat. It is a video ipod with the same resolution as a TV.
i guess i will have to wait around for something like that ....
