What's the best way to get a lot of prepaid credit cards?

Or maybe just multiple credit card numbers?

MBNA Credit Cards offer a virtual number service in which you make your own limit and exp date to an unlimited amount of numbers.

Just as we don't talk about canceling offers, we don't talk about ways to fraud companies.

It's a way of protecting ourselves too from fraudulent companies.

Very few companies that sign on as an Affiliate are fraudulent (like less than 5 I can think of). If you, as someone trying their service can't follow their terms and conditions, and use a pre-paid CC as a means to protect yourself (ie don't need to cancel the trial then), I tend to think you're being fraudulent as well.

It's very obvious to me why OP is asking where / how to get prepaid CCs, especially since he specified he really just wanted multiple numbers.

mikedb

26-10-2005 12:50:55

For me personally, I have a shared CC, and the other users arent too big on seeing all this crap come up.. Also, i dont like using my reall CC in the casino programs.. I dont trust the ones you download for security.

doylnea, whats wront with using a prepaid card if you have every intention of following the terms of service?

I can understand your argument if a person is truly trying to act in a fraudulent way, but if a person wants some security I think thats okay.

I've been screwed by companies where I had every intention of giving their product a fair try, had followed terms of service to the letter, and still got charged a considerable amount when I did not authorize such a charge.

If you try the company with a prepaid card and are pleased with their service nothing is stopping you from switching your payment method.

And now that Im done arguing that side I'll agree that most people using prepaid ccs to do offers are being somewhat fraudulent.

I got charged $84 by Paycom even after i cancelled my trial BEFORE it ended (2 days before), and they never replied to my emails telling them to take it off.

So i would somewhat agree to that, if its done legit, then its legit, if its done just to "grab and run", then that's not legit.

There's a big difference between intent and an act, but that's a different question alltogether.

Here's the way I look at it. I use one of my CCs for every offer I complete. That way, there's no chance that all of my CCs could be compromised, if a fraudulent company decides to charge me. But, I use that particular card because the issuer has a customer service group beyond reproach. I'd always rather have the CC company stand up for me, than having to worry whether my pre-paid CC is going to be declined by the offer, or having credit taken away at a later date because I used a pre-paid CC (since many sites forbid them in their T&C).

Citicards have this virtual account number service - you login to your account and generate this number and enter it for your purchase. This number is valid only for this purchase and you can generate different numbers for subsequent purchases - infinitely - the thing is, u gotto write down what u've entered as during cancellation, some companies ask for the last 4 digits of the CC no.!

Doylnea, I too got spanked by that offer "instacast". They charged me fifty something bucks and I had cancelled and not they don't answer their phones. So I am just trying to protect myself. Is it too hard to beleive that WE get frauded by the offers sometimes?

So I'll collect all the data from all the prepaid card types as you guys send them. Here's the preliminary list. Help me get more info, guys. Like let me know what they charge or how to get them.

Jake asked folks to send him a PM if they ahd any trouble with the InstantCast offer, and he would try to resolve the charges.

Simon can be bought online, but gets a 6$ charge.

Avoid privacash. They charge $5 a month "maintenance fee" and $0.25 every time you make a charge to the card. I ended up spending like an extra $12 from that bullshit.

Citicards virtual CC no. is free - all u need is a CC from them; you can use ur normal CC no. for offline transactions and these generated virtual account nos. for online ones. The virtual account nos. expire exactly 30 days from the day you generate it.
