I think I may have lost my calculator for the second time. I'm really pissed. Hopefully I can find it. But in the meantime, I have to prepare for the worst.
Is eBay going to give me the best price for a TI-83+?

I saw a slickdeal on a TI83+ for like fifty bucks, and I've got one that I'd sell for about that.

I would like to know the answer to that too, I had a program on quadritic (sp?) equations, and it took like 3 seconds to figure it out.

So you are a Junior or Senior ha!
Well, TI-84 are the same as TI-83 (the difference is that it has more memory and some other things) so it should be allowed.
TI-89's are allowed too (which is better)

I don't think they care about it, not sure but I think that you have to [b6baa460dc7]show work[/b6baa460dc7], so it's useless, besides quadratic equations are so easy.

x = -b + or - the square root of b squared - 4(a)(c), all divided by 2(a).
Duh!!
Oh, and I got a TI-84 Plus on eBay a week ago for $75. D

I guess, but I know there are programs for anything you could ever need figured out. Oh yeah, and they show the work on the calculator. So if you are doing something as serious as the SATs you might want to have a backup right? Get into a good college only because your trusty calculator. Also, the edit button is there for a reason.

All calculators are allowed as long as they don't have QWERTY keyboards; and I think they force clear the memory at the start of the test.

That was for the TI-89 for $59...but very YMMV because it was coupon AND price match.

I've got a TI-83+ in good condition I'd sell for like $40. I don't know where in Maryland you live but I might be able to deliver it to you or meet you somewhere.

its soo easy to make programs for it, any equation u want can be inputed into an equation with like 5 lines of code. i do ti all the tiem, i had a program to solve equations with 5 varibales it was great. another one to do long division of polynomials. all easy stuff that just wastes time.

That's what they [id4d99de884]say[/id4d99de884]. When I took it last year they didn't even look at my calculator.
ticalc.org has a bunch of nice apps, I got a periodic table program and lots of problem solving apps that show the work and the answers.
