Well their stock is in the $300 range. lol So it's about a gain in the 10% range. I actually made about 40% two weeks when buying delphi (dphiq) the day after it announced it's bankruptcy whe. I bought at 37 cents and sold at 52 cents the next day. Too bad I only had $1000 in my stock account availible though. cry

GOOG was the first stock a bought back in september of last year at $130. I held on to it for a pretty long time and sold it at $270 a few months ago but now I kind of regret it.

Anybody heard of Sandisk here? They make the flash memory cards for digital cameras, PSPs etc. they had a really big day today as well, just announced big earnings.

Yeah, those bought near or on their ipo and held on to it would have more then quadrapled the money they invested in a year and 2 months.

Thats what happens where there's no competition. The video card market is so great because there is ATI competiting with Nvidia and the same with the CPU market with Intel and AMD. If there's no competition you can make a just fair product and people would still buy it.

Why do i think that you know your stuff but your posts alawys defy that? You cant look at $$$ per day increase, its the precentage that counts.

PS Stocks such as AAPL, HPQ, EBay, Dell have all had one day gains of that much.

The stock is really bloated... anyone else thinking a stock split might be coming soon?

Though a split is possible, just to promote further growth.
