I GUESS WE KNOW WHY IT TAKES 22 DAYS TO GET YOUR ACCOUNT APPROVED NOW!

It seems unclear to some of you people, so I shall clarify. It is possible to have major losses on billions in revenue, as airlines and car companies regularly do. In this case I guess we can assume that a profit is being made, but I would guss the actual profits over the past year are not even 1 million.

lol actually approval times used to be under a week just a short while ago.... i was approved for freedesktoppc in under 5 days....
my only guess is that the completion rate for freepay sites as a whole have shot WAYYYYYYY up and they are taking extra care to check for fraud...

Taken from FreePay site.
[quotee6ccfad68e]Gratis Internet has been giving away free stuff for over 5 years, and has sent over [be6ccfad68e]$10 million[/be6ccfad68e] of totally free products to its happy customers. Just recently we announced a new name for the technology; and that name is FreePay. [/quotee6ccfad68e]
I'm guessing profit should be at least $5 million depending on advertising costs and other costs.

They have more than 12 employees now, its actually 26 (2005 Inc 500 publishes information from the prior year's performance). The reason approvals have slowed down is likely a result of the fact that they've recently opened their doors to users in Germany.

$5 million out of $20 is just 25%. It's not unreasonable since they only have 12 employees and probably very low fixed costs. $20 million was their 2004 revenue and they haven't sent out $10 million worth of free gifts yet in 2004. The $10 million total was only a month or two ago.
