Getting a game that isnt in production?

Okay, I want to start back up on Everquest, but want to get the "platinum pack" which was EQ and 7 expansions for just 20 dollars

however they arent producing it and on ebay its about 50 dollars which is more than i'm looking to spend on it.

does anyone know a place where they may have this in stock?

if they aren't producing it.. what makes you think that the ebay listings are legit? stay away from them.

i'm sure they are legit, who knows when they stopped making it and im sure they made a lot

With mmorpgs it is usually you register your account with the xpack, and once you do that you can not register any more accounts. So just make sure you get the account with the CDs. Infact many games let you download the full game off there website without CDs, but I am not sure about EQ.

Dude, don't play EQ, that game is so freakin addicting. I played on Lanys and Tribunal servers and was a guide until they suspended by guide account and regular account for duping platinum (in game money) and selling it for $$, heh.

i have the matrix online which sucks btw, and when i canceled my membership they asked if i could sell the game on ebay and they said the cd key travels with the account. so i am sure those people are just selling the cds and think that you arleady have an account.

I played EQ around 5 years ago and want to see whats changed.

Darkfall beta is where it is at though. Shadowbane was good on Death, and Vengeance to the end of that. But there is way too many bugs in that game, and it gets really annoying after you play it for 2 years.

A couple of my guildmates are playing with HoE, but I will just wait for Darkfall and Quake 4. Our guild got into Darkfall guild beta so it should not be too long. What guild/servers did you play with/on?

We played with HoE on vengeance, and my guild played with them on carnage. Most are fucking awsome. Like this one drunk russian that plays techno all the time on vent. I play with RoFL with Grammaton Clerics. They do not dupe actually, and nor have we. We can just make money quick. We baned half of vengeance one time that was good fun.

Dude WoW isn't any less addicting, my parents had to take the game away from me, and boy did I feel the withdrawl effects.

Yeah but WoW gets gay when you hit lvl60. The pvp sux and you can not blow peoples shit up, or steal it from them. I only know 1 person that played EQ and he gets made fun of all the time for playing that shitty game so.

download it and play on cracked servers ;)

WoW is boring as fuck, as are the emulation servers.

If you think leveling a druid to 60 is slow, try PVPing with a druid at 60. The time it takes to finish 1 fight, you could level a rogue or mage to 60 ;)
