I hate 1800 patches!

Did 1 of their offer and the product came a couple days ago. The pills are fking huge so I called to suspend my autoship program. The offer stated in the TOS that I would not need to send it back, but I asked if I would need to send them back anyways to make sure and the guy was like

"no, we'll let you keep the remaining portion at a cost to us"

I was like "ok, cool, now I don't have to send it back"

All was well until I look into my paypal to see a $24 charges, called them and asked and someone else picked up and told me that the charges were from the other guy putting a discount on my trial so I wouldnt have to send it back.

WTF? It's a freaking FREE trial, what the hell do I need a "discount" on a FREE trial for?

The guy told me that it was done for MY convenient so I wouldnt have to go to the Post Office and spend $6 to ship it back to them.

if you try to cancel they offer it to you for $24 and you can keep it...what you shoulda done is said no i dont want it at all and you need to send it back. In the TOS it says you must send it back if you cancel.

uh they can't do that after they say its free.

contact paypal for a dispute and keep contacting them.

they didnt offer to let me keep it for $24 though. After cancellation of the autoship program, I asked if I needed to get an RMA number to send the product back and the guy told me that I would not need to send it back.

Yeah I can't say I like 1-800-patches either. The woman outsmarted me when I called to cancel green tea. She starts asking me questions like how much water I put in it and what flavors and crap.

I told her I wanted to keep the tan towels, so now I'm sending back the green tea patches and keeping the tea for now. I need to call back and get an easier person to talk to. I got two charges on my bank account, one for like 25 and one for 39.99. And thats just for the trial, I haven't even been started on the autoship program yet.

I think all autoship programs are a little shady, but I had no problems with these guys. I read all the terms and conditions, played by the rules, and received absolutely no unexpected charges or unwanted products. To be honest, they sent more emails at each stage of the process than many other trial offers I've participated in.

EDIT @Stroid, it depends on the offer. I know abslim, Zovaset and redblossom doesnt require you to send anything back. But stuff like Cortiban, they send you a full 30 days supply so you gotta send it back. Not that I would know because of course, like all of you, I don't cancel my trial wink liwhistleli liwhistleli

TPham That's where they get you. The free trial is for a 7-day supply or something, but they send you 14 days' worth. If you cancel, you need to send at least 7 days' worth back.

Joe, I wouldnt keep anything if I were you. If you want to return it, return ALL of it. When you call them, dont ask for an RMA number, demand for one.

Oh, and yes, it arrived quickly, got here in 3 days actually.

what do you use to ship stuff? $2.50 with confirmation? It's like $1.50 to get confirmation with USPS ( Shipping charges run between $5-8 for me

usps confirmation is 45 cents.... i used the same box 1800patches used to send me the shite in the first place D i used a marker to scratch off all the text on the box )

I like the offer, all you have to do is get the RMA number and goto USPS.com and make a label to send it back. Pay through usps.com, and then paste it on there packaging and send it right back to them.

But dont forget to write the RMA number on the paper you print out from USPS. They shouldnt charge you extra or anything, and as long as you have some demand in your voice they will leave you alone on the phone.
