Angels vs. White Sox

Personally i'm a die hard cards fan, but I've been watching all the games. Does anyone else think that the ending of the Angels / Sox game last night was complete bullshit?

Angles got it in the bag though. Give them credit for winning both of these first two games(yes i consider the angles the winner what with the bad call and the fact that they kept the game close with their staff as injured and tired as they are) after such a long couple of days against the yanks in new york sunday, then in anaheim monday, then in chicago tues and wens, now they fly back to anahiem. They deserve a day off, to let their staff catch up.

Even still they only allowing 1-3 runs per game.

Their bullpen kicks ass

donovan, then escobar, then shields, then k-rod.


oh and vlad rules all.


i like the white sox's spirt and ozzie guillen too though.

I gave up hope in my team (Seattle Mariners), so I don't pay much attention to baseball anymore.. But between the Angels and White Sox.. I'd go with the White Sox.

Yeah, me too. The main tv stations are probably pissed cause there's no east coast teams in it. I think the angels will take the sox pretty easy. The cards and angels will be a great series though. The cards are a better team though. It's their year to win, since it's the last in the current Busch Stadium.

I'm a die hard Angels fan and that was COMPLETELY FUCKING HORSESHIT! First they get fucked having to play 3 nights in 3 timezones and now this. I mean that ump is a fucktard and I want to punch him in the nuts. There is no way he didn't motion that he was out and then he backs out of it, fuck him. I might get to go to game 4 in Anaheim and it could've been the game they swept...

And that play was pretty much BS. I find it hard to beleive that not a single other ump on the field had a view of what happened. No one saw anything. But the Sox didn't win that game on their own, they had assistance from the umps and they are going to need a lot more than that if they even want to have a shot at shit. I've never seen a single call like that piss off 2/3rd of the City of Chicago.

That's the reason I think they should have challenges and replays like they do in football. I know the umps job is tough and they none of them could've had a view of that kind of thing. That's why they need it. I'm sure the ump went and saw replays of it all night and is kickin himself enough. It would be funny to see the coaches throw a red flag from the dugout.

The fact is he made the out signal which caused the team to start to come off the field and Paul threw the ball to the mound. He should've been out at the point he made the signal...

I guess I'm the only one that wants the sox to win. The weird thing about that play is that the ump clearly makes that out sign just before the catcher tosses the ball towards the mound, while he says later that it was a third strike sign... He didn't say "no catch" either.

Gotta admit that Buehrle pitched a great game though.

I guess im the only one who thinks Basebell is really boring..

He pointed to the right to signal the third strike and then made the out sign to end the inning. I'm just confused about how they can go back on the call.
