If we donate the 10 dollars for a day of our link on freeipodguide.com, do we get the donator in our forum name? or is that just if you donate and dont get a link

you get the donation icon in your name if you donate. Don't however expect to get any referrals from your donation - most people would prefer to be paid than sign up using a random link.

Why would you post then if you're not going to go into it?
I know Admin got some refs from it, but those were people looking to sign up right away or support him. Further, I'm referring to present day donations. I know that in the past (10 months ago) people got referrals by donating to the site.
Think logically about this, why would anyone sign up for a site for free, if they knew they could get paid for their signup, as indicated by the hundreds of $$$PAYAL$$$ here posts in the trading forum?
If shamash wants to donate to support Admin, I think that's a noble idea, but if s/he's looking for referrals, I'm offering my opinion that the links at the top of the forum don't garner any referrals or much traffic (which is why they've been CollidgeGraduit's photos links and Admin's for profit site for quite a while).

Any donation (forum ad, front page, or just to be a nice person) will get you the donator icon. $10 = one green ipod, $20 = two green ipods, $30+ = three green ipods.
