Well, not really, but I had about 45 minutes break between studying and I though I might as well throw together that layout I promised admin =P
Heres a mockup start, and I'd love to get some opinions. I tried to stay true to the origional colors, and I gave the logo a nice little update =)

Ok, I just raised the opacity - reload the image and tell me if its any better =P
Edit - I changed the main box up into a square =P

Yeah, where I'm at right now is that it doesn't look spactacualr but at least it looks leaps and bounds better then grey and tables.

i was thinking it might be too intense for the eyes with a bunch of reading, maybe you should tone the colors down a bit? just a thought, dunno since theres no real text to read on the red.
