Hi,
Is the trading post only can be used for trading referal and paypal for referal only?
I am just wondering if we can sell any stuff on there, because soon I will get my freedesktop cyberpower xplorer and I really dont know how to sell it. It really has low demand on ebay.
Any suggestion ? ?

Your TR is low so you would most likely have to complete your end of the deal first. Or trade with some fly by night n00b....
Do you really wanna risk it?
Also why didnt you pick the 749$ laptop freepay was offering.........

Honestly, I wouldn't waste my time with selling a FDPC here. If someone on FIPG wants the Cyberpower, they're probably gonna complete the site. Not trying to be negative, just trying to help out.

well...
first, because I am a student.... and I am not working.
And I heard some issues about 20-30% tax income will be charged from the laptop.
And I heard few ppl go to jail after avoiding tax from IRS. (BS maybe?)
so I dont really want to take a risk.....
other offer is pretty good too as long as it is free....

If you really do plan on scamming the IRS, you will go to jail eventually. But, the form for the laptop, means that the value of it is claimed to you as income. So, asumming you have a job and get a tax return, it would be about $150-$200 less.

if you dont have a job then you're probably not making any money so the IRS would hardly charge you anyways.....
some people are so misinformed.......

I wonder if this affects Texas, cause we have no state income tax. Florida doesnt either.

well...
It is too late for me to change the order, since it was placed almost 3 weeks ago.
Ebay is not a good site to sell this cyberpower since the cyberpower company itself selling the desktop at a good price on ebay.
Any solution how to sell this thing at reasonable price guys?..
I am expecting to get 400 dollar for this thing. roll

Admin would allow you to sell your PC in the trading section but he
wont take responsibility if you get scammed (He said this a few months ago back when lots of people wanted to sell stuff here....)

At least on ebay, people will pay you first. No one is going to do that for you here given your TR.

Since he has no job 749$ is theonly income the IRS can prove he made in one year. With that ammount i bet the IRS wont charge shit.....
the Tax in my state (maryland) is 5%
i feel sorry for the people paying 8-9% shock

btw, since we are talking about FDPC...what is the current pc listed on the site that has the highest eBay/retail value?
from what I've seen the Presario V2000 is popular on ebay...

I watch the auction for the gateway laptop on ebay.
It ended up to 565 dollar + shipping.
Not sure about compaq, but it should sell much higher
