Just saw this and thought it was pretty good so I'm sharing


1. Can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.

2. Are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.

3. Do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

4. Do people order double cheese burgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

5. Do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

6. Do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

7. Do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.

8. Do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

9. Do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

10. Do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille.

Hey, it's not always about the calorie content. I have to defend this one because I do it. Why? Regular coke makes me sick to my stomach if I drink too much (a 12oz can is too much). Same with pepsi. The amount of sugar in those drinks really messes me up.

So, NAH! ;)

drink water, or iced tea or something... o, and u don't have to drink all of it... save some for later mrgreen

I can't even remember the last time I had a fat infested burger from a fast food place, or a regular pop. Because of that, I've lost 9lbs since September 1. )

congrats... but once you taste the sweet fat, i'm sure you'll gain the 9lb's back in a snap... at least that's what the word on the street is ;)

actually i think research proved that the sugar substitute in diet cokes is more worse for you than a regular coke in the long run.

As far as overall health, probably. I don't drink it all that often anyway. I drink more tea and such. But when it comes to losing weight by cutting calories and carbs, it definitely helps to go diet.

All of this could easily happen in Canada too.
