Okay, I'm currently trying to get caught up on Lost... Trying to watch as much as possible. I started watching Saturday night and I'm on episode 20 "Do No Harm" right now. So hopefully, fairly soon, I'll be able to participate in all kinds of Losty conversations.

Oh, and I have to thank Admin for getting me started and I'll give him this honorary badge for doing so.

i never understood what the big deal about this show was. i watched half of one show once, but it just seemed kinda boring.

some guy wanted to be friends with a little kid, but the kids dad was pissed at the guy, then the hobbit wanted to look at someones diary and punched this guy who was reading it. shrug

Yeah, it's a show that you have to watch from episode 1 to understand... that's why I decided to pick up the dvd's (legit, i swear!) and start from the beginning. From what I'm told, that's a very good place to start.

I watched the first episode and didn't like it. But it seems like every other person I know loves it. Maybe I'll have to give it another try.

well i dont/didnt know how far into the series it was, i just turned it on and watched it.

so is it basically a plane crashed and a bunch of people have to live on an island?

Kinda. You really have to suspend your logical thought process and most of your reasoning skills, other wise you'd sit there the whole time just yelling "Oh come on! What's that! That would never happen!" So if you can get past that then it's a teriffic show.

Think... Gilligans Island meets Survivor meets .... meets... something weird and difficult to explain because it doesn't make sense unless you suspend logic and reason.

Its the best TV Drama ever made, and no I have never seen Dawsons Creek. I barely watch TV, and when I do it is History, SciFi, Comedy, or Fox, I hate WB.

I watched a couple of episodes last season somewhere in the middle and didn't think much of it. But then i heard everyone raving about it, so i downloaded season 1. Now i am fuckin hooked. You have to watch from the beginning to understand everything, as their are a lot of undertones and backstories that make it so great. Can't wait till tommorow.

basically the plane goes down, they live on an island, they have flashbacks of their life, and they spend an entire season building up to finding something in a celler/hatch thing. how interesting... the first season of survivor was good, but it got old after that.

i dunno... seems like tv's full of these shows... take Prison Break, or this show... what's up with them, i mean in one you Umm... break out of prison, for what, like 10 seasons? same with this show, 24 episodes JUST about what the characters did a few days/years ago? it's tooooo deeeep for me maaaaaaan.
