Anyone had good luck with party poker?

I'm thinking about doing it for CCU and haven't done a poker site since pacific poker about 6 months ago. Is it easy to meet the 100 requirement?

I deposited 50$ got my green and then witdrew my 50$ D

I'm gonna do some free play and see if i like the casino. I'm a big hold em fan.

I've got a buddy that makes a few hundred a month playing on Party Poker...they gave me $20 free bonus money, I had him play it and was going to split the profit with him but at $150 he hit the nut straight off the flop then got runner runner boated and lost it all (

Translation?

He had a wining hand, aka a nuts. When you have a nuts there is virtually no way you can lose. I have no idea what a runner or a boat is though. He thought he had a winning hand and then got pwned in the face and lost all his monies.

I made 100$ sitting at .5/1 baiting noobs, or as some call it grinding, and I just leave whenever a better player comes to the table. I recently deposited 50$ went up to 100$, and got owned at NL and lost all the money.

runner = card that helped the opponent make a better hand
boat = full house

I used to play at Partypoker but I am now playing at Paradise poker which has a 50% deposit bonus up to $100 so I deposited $200 and get a $100 bonus and am up $95 in clearing the bonus with $60 to go.

I hear playing at poker sites taht use the english pound is easy to rake in a lot of noobs that dont know how to play very well.

Poker is hard to play without the 'buzz' words though, there is a lot of places you will use them. Its really not that hard to learn them too, playing games with some friends that know how to play real poker will give you the knowledge easily.

Ya, after playing for free I decided that I'm better off not doing this. Too much skill involved.

So I was playing on PartyRoom.com tonight (trying to do an offer for AllThis4Free) and this happened. I know its a different site but I had to come tell someone. It has to be a 1 in a billion shot.

I had been losing all night and was just about to quit when I ended up with a Royal Flush! I hadn't ever gotten one that I can remember so I was freaking out. It really sucks cause I didn't win much. People were scared off by the A, K, 10 of hearts on the board (I had the Q,J). So I bet $2 and everyone folded. I knew there was a $25 bonus for getting a Royal Flush but I thought I didn't get it since everyone folded. 6 minutes later I have A,J and the flop is K,4,3 (or something). Next 2 cards are Q,10 and I get ANOTHER ROYAL FLUSH! This time I put someone all-in and I won $25 on the hand (he had top 2 pair). I check my email and to my surprise I got both bonuses (2 $25 bonuses). So I won $75 tonight. 2 Royal Flushes in 6 min. (3 hands) has to be a 1 in a billion shot. I'm pissed I didn't win more on the first one.

Seems like every single person has a chance to win. <---that sounds dumb, but I hope you know what I mean.

I don't think its rigged. I've never even seen a royal flush and I've played a ton.

every idiot that watches poker on tv and wants to play too joins up on party poker. I know im not the best but its so easy to take advantage of other peoples mistakes and stupid playing. In the last 3 days i have cashed out a little over $200. its fun and definately addicting.
