I saw this on slashdot a few hours ago, has anyone heard about it? http//www.30gigs.com/

Personally, I have no idea how anyone could use 30 gigs of e-mail space..

more like gmail. Noone can use 2.5gigs of email, and I bet this place is not friendly to huge email file xfers, so it is worthless. Gmail pwns so much with its interface, and search omfg I want to have its babies.

If it allowed for large file size, you could use it as online storage. Things are headed that direction anyway, it's just a matter of overcoming bandwidth obstacles. Why continue to increase the size of local hard drives if you can have hosted drives accessible from anywhere with a speedy internet connection?

That's when I'll really get excited...

30 gb is way too much just for email, here are only minimal uses for it.

Wow, more storage on email than on my HD.
Then again, there's more space on iPods than my HD.

Damn 20GB Hd...
