How many times have you been scammed?

It would probably be better for people to vote anonymously, so scammers don't know who to prey on. But I was just curious as to what the average number was, as scamming is what makes this game so risky.

That said, CC40 got me for $15, and PrizeCube fucked me in the ass. Other than that, FreeMacGifts got me for 6 greens (which were fairly easily obtained).

i got scammed just this week by that romero cunt, bumping me up to #6.
previous scammers on this forum were scooter4279 or whatever and frankgratis. the rest were on a4f. i cant believe i traded there.

I have never been scammed on this forum actually. I did get scammed in my first ever trade for freeipods on livejournal and I got scammed twice on refstop

I think i was scammed once or twice when i was new and din't really know the game.

I was fucked over by legalsteals. I had 4 refs green and my offer waiting on credit, when they bailed. Someone tracked down the owner's info, and i was able to get $50 from him. He said he was going to give me more, and i could have probably gotten it, if i had been really persisant. He lives in the same state as me, and i had his parents address, that was about an hour and a half away. But i considered it a wash and let it go.

Anyone whos been here long enough knows i make a LOT of scam threads......... but in reality, after posting about someone in the scam thread they almost always complete their end of the deal D
Even CC40 refunded me my 30$ after about 3.5 months so i wont count that as a scam. That being said, ive been scammed twice (

Ive never been scammed in a trade.

Although, I have been screwed by Prizecube (160$), GetFreeTech(99$ Gamepack), PDAtech4Free (300$), LegalSteals (120$), and ShuffleiPods4Free (150$).

That comes to a grand total of 829$ that Ive been fucked out of and ~20 wasted referrals.

he actually posted a few weeks ago, and he said that he wasnt aware of people he still owed, and then he fucked off again. he doesnt post to trade, he posted to say he got paid by FON's site.

ive been scammed about 4 times. once by gixxermike, once by oddtech4free, once by freepalms.com and once more by someone else that i cant remember.

pseudo nearly scammed me, i paid $45 to do sites for me, he did one of them, didnt green, and didnt even yellow on the other......but he eventually paid me back saying "you thought i was gone with your money didnt you?" lol twat.

I've been scammed too, and also have followed the rules.

I mentioned in Admin's "What do you think of FIPG" thread that I think an escrow service would reduce a lot of the scamming with PayPal trades. The idea would be that, if the person paying for the ref has a lower TR, he deposits the agreed-to amount in escrow to demonstrate that he has the cash and is ready to pay. Then, when the other trader greens, the cash is transferred to him/her.

Ref-for-ref trades are harder to regulate, but in many cases, they cost less as well.

i've been scammed twice... by freedigitalplayers.com and freepalmpilots.com (both Shamel Networ sites)... haven't been scammed by pple, although a few tried...

oh and we're working out our deal with "kevxross"... it was totally my fault for just leaving.

I've been scammed by Cash4points.net, kinda. They never credited me for a Netflix offer and didn't bother replying to my 10+ support tickets.
