1) last night
yes, i was pretty messed up. i didn't have too great of a night and I shouldn't have hopped on the forums. if anyone was offended by anything i said or did, that's fine, i'm sorry about that. i'd suggest that you consider the advice i was given regarding collateral relax, i was messing around. no need to take it seriously.

2) collateral banning
this was done yesterday afternoon while i was sober. he was banned for repeatedly flaunting (what I assume he thought was) his "untouchable" status for being an older member. i dont know where people this idea, but frankly i hold older members to higher standards than newer ones.

3) disrespect
i'm sure there's plenty of you that think i'm a vengeful asshole. maybe I am. but, with an extremely small amount of exceptions, i ban people when its warranted by rule-breaking. mod sass is actually against the rules and i put up with an absolute fuckton of it on a nearly daily basis. if i banned everyone who'd acted like an asshole to me i'd be pretty much alone on here.

4) aim conversation with collateral
after doing this for over a year, it starts to wear on you. you know why? because you know as soon as you get a message from someone at fipg they're going to need something. something fixed, something changed, something edited. the times i've been IM'd to say something like "hey thanks for all the work" can be counted on one of homer simpson's hands. i'm fine with it. i do a lot of work for these forums because there's a community here that i really do care about. i mean, a custom coded (from the ground up) trade module? trade rating system? and only two tiny unobtrusive text ads? please, if i didn't give a fuck this would be a default phpbb install, except plastered in banners like most other freesites. back to the conversation, i hope you guys can understand my frustration when someone wastes my time. like i said, i'm here to help, i do it all the time, but when someone IMs me just to chat about nothing it bugs me. i really dont like feeling as if my time is being wasted. the IMs from him sure as hell seem to me to indicate he intent on making smalltalk, when the purpose of the IM was business (incidentally, we have an aim account for FusionCash business. It's FusionCash). sure, i could have been nicer. no question. honestly i didn't even know who it was that had IM'd me until I saw a post by collateral later that day where he was being a prick.

5) aim conversation with wood
