It opens in a new tab (as it should) but it also opens up in the current window. Why does this happen? I've only seen it happen on this site.

You're right. It's the hack I have installed that makes the table cells clickable. If you want to open them in new windows, try using your mouse's MIDDLE button instead. Works for me.

hah! Learned something new today. I am used to using middle mouse to paste, I didn't know doing it over a link opens the link in a new tab. This works, thanks. Now if only I can get Gmail messages to open up in a new tab..

Good luck with that. That site is like 90% javascript and almost certainly won't work in extra windows.
