There's this Chicago place called Giordano's that has some excellent Chicago style pizza (it's just pizza to them). They are really good because the cheese is on the bottom with the sauce and toppings on top of that. The pies are so thick that it takes about a half hour for them to cook. Well worth the wait, though.

Papa John's is the best in terms of taste and freshness (out of the ones you listed).

All the Little Caesars disappeared from my area a long time ago. Haven't had any around here for like 10 years.

You ever go to Beau Jo's? The original was in Idaho Springs, but I think they opened another one in Highlands Ranch...

how about homemade pizza. I (got it from my grandma) can make it like my grandma and damn it beats any restaurant anywhere. Homemade tomato sauce and dough from scratch. Chain restaurant? I don't think so.

If I had to pick one, Dominos.

There are a couple of local places that I love, but if we're talking chains, I generally go with Papa Johns or Pizza Hut.

Woodstock's Pizza is the best ever. There are ones in Davis, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and maybe more. Its the best I've ever had.

Out of the big chain pizza places I'd say a tie between Roundtable and Papa Johns...

Yeah of course it's expensive, I guess you could call it name brand pizza.

I have soo many local pizza places in my town, Salvatore's and Italian Bistro being the best two, though Italian Bistro is actually a restaurant that just happens to make awesome pizza. As for chains, I like Papa John's and Pizza Hut, and generally try to avoid Domino's.

You are very right about their pizza... It's the best.

I live around Chicago and everything good is local. You can get a pizza from a chain for cheap but who care. I'm in for quality, not quantity.
