I do too, but I think De-Loused was much much better than their newest release. I want to go back and listen to At the drive in because I never really got into them.

A buddy of mine is really into them but I haven't heard enough of them to have an opinion. All I remember is that he said they are Led Zeppelin-ish (i think).

I gave it a listen but wasn't that in to it. I might have to try again after I exhaust the other cds I'm listening to.

Deloused. If you're new to Volta you might be better "buying" the widow single off of Frances the Mute first as thats probably their most melodic song and a good intro to their other stuff.

Whoever said they weren't good live is on crack. Supposedly they're one of the best bands to see live. I've never heard complaints about their live show. Hell, when they were ATDI, they even made an album (in/casino/out) that was recorded live in studio, to try to recreate the feel of their show.

I love Mars Volta - missed a golden chance to see them live at Houston. Damn! Reg. their albums, de-loused rocks and francis the mute is kind of consistent.
