Pick the top 4 teams in Football right now.
Just pick any four teams. Can be from any division.
In no particular order
-Eagles
-Patriots
-Steelers
-Colts
I'm sure there will be little deviation from these four, but I'm still curious.
Give a supporting sentence or two if you want.
No bashing, no page long opinions either.
Want to keep this short and sweet.

Im not picking the eagles bc they have no recievers besides TO. Defenses will collapse on him and Westbrook will wear out as the season goes on. Expect TO to see a lot of double coverage in the season and for the Eagles to be less effective.

Did you even watch the game last night?
LJ Smith, Lewis, and Westbrook all had multiple catches.
The double coverage on TO is a beautiful thing, now a lot of our other guys who dont have big names can start producing.
And you think westbrook will "wear out"?
I'm not sure what that means, but look at his last few seasons with us.
We worked him like a freaking dog and he still came out on top.

No your right I dont watch enough of the games. The other ercievers are mediocre from the little Ive seen of them. I also think Mcnabb is soft whenever he gets pressured but thats another story. Hey my team is the Giants so Im not going to pretend like my team can do it.
You mightve worked him like a dog but you did not come out on top. Maybe second but thats not the top. Until you get a ring you wont be at the top.

its all relative to time...again it says right now....
cincy 3-0 since god knows when
jacksonville 2-1 but held the colts to 10 points and no throwing tds for manning with an interception
falcons had a big win against philly monday and the next game will be an easy win taking them to 3-1 with New England at home
and the Bucs(if you prefer that spelling better) are 3-0 with detroit comming to town...so they will be 4-0 also their defense has 6 picks and 3 fumble rec holding teams to under 17 points per game
bballp6699
26-09-2005 12:57:44
...ok...
Using that logic...
If Jacksonville is good because they held Indy to 10 points...
Then why isn't Indy up there when they WON?

The Jags look good but not top 4 good. You didn't put the Colts, Eagles, or Pats. The Bucs have played 3 shitty teams and Calliac can't keep getting 30 carries a game, he won't last. I don't think anyone's list shouldn't have the Colts and Pats, they are both just too damn good...

see i didnt put the colts, eagles or pats because they are supposed to be good...i mean if the pats one the last few superbowls...no one expects them to roll over and die after that...i dont think that Indy is playing that well ...well at least not Manning...2 games and no touchdowns...that is not how the man is expected to play....i dunno i guess i took it as who is playing better than you expected through week 3 of the season...not who will win their division

The Colts are the best they've ever been. Mannings numbers are down but they are 3-0 and Edge is playing like he did before he got hurt. Their D is waaaaaaay better and so they don't need to put up 42 to win. I don't see how if a team is supposed to be good and then they are good you don't think they are good. That just seems weird...
