If O'Reilly is an a-hole, I don't know what adjectives can be used to describe Donahue and Sheehan. Donahue has always been a maniac on TV. Holy Mother Sheehan's "messages" are all over the wires, on the front pages of the NY Times and Washington Post, no matter how insignificant they are.
The story of Cindy Sheehan’s march on Washington DC was all over the wires yesterday, with the usual worshiping tone, accompanied by carefully cropped photos. So this march must have been gigantic for the mainstream media to devote so much time and energy and money to covering it, right?
Wrong.
Sheehan was joined by about [b4cb1b9bc15]30 supporters[/b4cb1b9bc15] in her march down Pennsylvania Avenue to deliver a letter to Bush urging him to pull the troops out of Iraq.
"[b4cb1b9bc15]My son joined the Army to protect America[/b4cb1b9bc15], not Israel. Am I stupid? No, I know full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were betrayed by a George Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda after 9/11..." -- Cindy Sheehan

4. [b6aac57a879]Sheehan Mistake To Invade Afghanistan[/b6aac57a879]
[quote6aac57a879]"MATTHEWS All right. If your son had been killed in Afghanistan, would you have a different feeling?
SHEEHAN I don't think so, Chris, because I believe that Afghanistan is almost the same thing. We're fighting terrorism. Or terrorists, we're saying. But they're not contained in a country. This is an ideology and not an enemy. And we know that Iraq, Iraq had no terrorism. They were no threat to the United States of America.
MATTHEWS But Afghanistan was harboring, the Taliban was harboring al-Qaida which is the group that attacked us on 9/11.
SHEEHAN Well then we should have gone after al-Qaida and maybe not after the country of Afghanistan.
MATTHEWS But that's where they were being harbored. That's where they were headquartered. Shouldn't we go after their headquarters? Doesn't that make sense?
SHEEHAN Well, but there were a lot of innocent people killed in that invasion, too. ... But I'm seeing that we're sending our ground troops in to invade countries where the entire country wasn't the problem. Especially Iraq. Iraq was no problem. And why do we send in invading armies to march into Afghanistan when we're looking for a select group of people in that country?
So I believe that our troops should be brought home out of both places where we're obviously not having any success in Afghanistan. Osama bin Laden is still on the loose and that's who they told us was responsible for 9/11."[/quote6aac57a879]

5. [b6aac57a879]Terrorists killing American's are "Freedom Fighters"[/b6aac57a879]
[quote6aac57a879]"Cindy Sheehan, the so-called Peace Mom seeking a second meeting with President Bush in connection with the Iraq War death of her son, says terrorists killing Americans are "freedom fighters."
She made the remark during her trek earlier this month to Crawford, Texas; but her equating the enemy with freedom fighters has not been highlighted by the mainstream media, despite her telling it directly to a reporter for CBS News.
Sheehan's comments were recorded on video by Veterans for Peace, a group pushing for Bush's impeachment. (Editor's note The video of Cindy Sheehan is approximately 30 minutes long, and requires several minutes to load, even with a high-speed connection.)
"You know that the president says Iraq is the central front in the war on terrorism, don't you believe that?" asked Mark Knoller of CBS, surrounded by a host of other reporters.
"No, because it's not true," Sheehan replied. "You know Iraq was no threat to the United States of America until we invaded. I mean they're not even a threat to the United States of America. Iraq was not involved in 9-11, Iraq was not a terrorist state. But now that we have decimated the country, the borders are open, freedom fighters from other countries are going in, and they [American troops] have created more terrorism by going to an Islamic country, devastating the country and killing innocent people in that country. The terrorism is growing and people who never thought of being car bombers or suicide bombers are now doing it because they want the United States of America out of their country."
A WorldNetDaily search of CBS News, Google News, and Lexis-Nexis archives found not a single news report mentioning Sheehan's "freedom fighters" remark."[/quote6aac57a879]

"Cindy Sheehan just finished her morning media event. When asked by reporters, Sheehan said she believes that while she supports the continued hunt for Osama bin Laden she believes the U.S. should withdraw from Afghanistan and “stop bombing innocent people.” She also described Osama bin Laden as being “allegedly” behind the attacks of 9/11."[/quote6aac57a879]

7. From The Rocky Mountain News Tide Turning on Sheehan by Mike Rosen.
[quote6aac57a879]In spite of her glorified treatment in the liberal media, the tide of public opinion is turning against Cindy Sheehan. Her words and actions simply don't stand up to objective scrutiny. She's a veritable supermarket of rants, cliches and conspiracy theories about President Bush and the United States of America.
She opposed U.S. action against the Taliban in Afghanistan. She wants Israel out of Palestine. Because her son was killed in 2004 ("murdered" by George W. Bush, as she puts it), she's refused to pay her income taxes. She's severed relations with her in-laws as punishment for their voting for Bush in 2004. She believes the "mainstream media" (The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time Newsweek, The Associated Press, ABC, CBS, NBC?) are "a propaganda tool for the government," and that were it not for left-wing bloggers on the Internet, "we would already be a fascist state."
She wants the president to be impeached, tried for war crimes and sent to jail. She brands the U.S. government a "morally repugnant system" and declares that "this country is not worth dying for."[/quote6aac57a879]
8. [b6aac57a879]"Bush Is The Biggest Terrorist"[/b6aac57a879]
[quote6aac57a879]Sheehan spoke at a rally at San Francisco State University in April. It wasn't a Mothers Against Pre-emptive War With Ambivalent U.N. Approval meeting. It was a rally for a lawyer convicted of aiding Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, the terrorist connected with the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993. There's a transcript at
http//www.discoverthenetwork.org/Articles/Stewartrally.htm.
"The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush," Sheehan began. After calling for Bush's impeachment and making a demand that Bush send his "two little party-animal girls" to war, she makes this nuanced assessment
"What they're saying, too, is like, it's OK for Israel to have nuclear weapons. But Iran or Syria better not get nuclear weapons. ... It's OK for Israel to occupy Palestine, ... for the United States to occupy Iraq, but it's not OK for Syria to be in Lebanon. They're a bunch of (expletive) hypocrites."
The hard left in America needs to realize a bald, cruel fact Anyone who sees no moral distinction between Israel and the mullahs of Iran, or sees the U.S. attempt to set up a constitutional republic in Iraq as equivalent to the Syrian occupation of Lebanon, suffers from incurable moral cretinism. The more the fervent anti-war base embraces these ideas, the more they ensure that no one will trust the left with national security. Ever.
Will they learn the lesson? Even money says Sheehan will be sitting in the Michael Moore seat next to Jimmy Carter at the '08 Democratic convention.[/quote6aac57a879]
http//www.newhousenews.com/archive/lileks081705.html
The woman is clearly anguished about her son's death, as any parent would be. But in her grief, [b6aac57a879]she has lost sight of the fact that her 24-year-old son, Casey, proudly and willingly served. Sheehan's father told the press in April 2004 that his son had re-enlisted the previous August, planned to make a career in the military, and "loved the Army because it gave him a chance to serve his country." I can't imagine Army Spc. Casey Sheehan would stand for his mother's crazy accusations that he was murdered by his commander-in-chief, rather than the Iraqi terrorists who ambushed his convoy.[/b6aac57a879] I can't imagine Army Spc. Casey Sheehan would stand for a bunch of strangers glomming onto his mother's crusade and using him to undermine the war effort as they shouted "W killed her son" in front of countless TV cameras.
Cindy Sheehan has surrounded herself with a group of anti-American, anti-military, terrorist-sympathizing agitators, including Code Pink, the Crawford Peace House, and the crackpot crowd.
So the spokesman for the anti-war movement wants to cut and run IN AFGHANISTAN and doesn't seem to think Osama Bin Laden is behind 9/11. After 9/11, the Bali bombings, the Moscow theater attack, the British subway bombings, and 9/11, it's hard to see why the anti-war movement believes that fighting terrorism is really all about making profits for the "war machine". Cindy Sheehan and the people she speaks for in the anti-war movement want to withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, believe terrorism isn't a real threat, and they don't think much of America. They certainly may have a right to feel that way. but it's also the right of other more sensible people to point out they're out of touch with reality.

well if you watch nearly every guest that O'Reilly has on his show who he disagrees with or who disagrees with him, 9 times out of 10 the only thing he can resort to is shouting over them, shouting at them, cutting their mic or getting them kicked out of the studio.
so when someone goes on there and gives him a run for his money, or actually manages to get his point across, then its a good thing. His show is supposed to have some kind of debate in it, not a one-sided shouting match wink

[quote0487a1d165="Jake"]Are you going to tell me that the Iraqi people have no right to fight back against the illegal occupation of their country?
[/quote0487a1d165]
First off, it's not the "iraqi people" as you so wholesomely put it.
it's a select group of individuals, who make up a very small percentage of the population.
and these individuals arent "fighting back" so much as just randomly inflicting violence and pain whenever, wherever, against WHOEVER. do you have even the slightest idea how many innocent irqais have died because of their suicide bombers?
they realize they cant inflict any serious damage on the american army, so the next best thing is to show up at a local shopping center and blow themselves and their countrymen to smithereens.
that's not "freedom fighting" - thats terrorism in the purest form.
i'd comment further, but why?
so you can harp about the dumping of depleted uranium in the middle east? (do you honestly think they didn't give their consent...or their bank account #'s before hand??)

This happened in Iraq a few days ago. A couple of British soldiers were dressed up as Arabs firing at a police station. The Iraqi police arrested them and found bombs and weapons with which they intended to blow something up. Then after the Iraqi police arrested them, the British military broke into the prison to free the two soldier.
If they hadn't been caught, you can bet that there would have been a 'suicide bombing' blamed on 'insurgents.'
Ultimately, why would a fanatical Muslim(who values their religion above all else, blow up a mosque?

so you can harp about the dumping of depleted uranium in the middle east? (do you honestly think they didn't give their consent...or their bank account #'s before hand??)[/quoted03da67636]
Consent to have DU dumped in their backyard? Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Justifying that action makes you as bad as the terrorists.
Would you like it if I dumped a pile of it on your home and left you to live in it? Then your children have birth defects, you lose your hair and teeth, and god knows what else?

Ultimately, I wanted to cut through the rhetoric that was in the articles that I originally quoted which stackmjwiz used to bolster their argument.
One example, just because David Duke agrees with Cindy Sheehan doesn't mean she supports the KKK.

Ultimately, why would a fanatical Muslim(who values their religion above all else, blow up a mosque?[/quoteac2d8aa87c]

Possessed with or motivated by excessive, irrational zeal.

Take a few minutes and look it up.
They were paid for it.
We didnt just bring a few thousand barrels of the crap over unannounced.
We asked, they agreed and got paid, and we delivered.
Might not be pretty, but you should be blaming the government of the people who are having all of these birth defects.

What the hell are you talking about?
The defense contractors make shells and ordinance with Depleted Uranium because it is has great armour piercing properties and it is used in bunker buster bombs. When the shell bursts, it spreads all over the place and as a result, contaminates the entire area. Since DU is radioactive, it remains there for 4.5 billion years contaminating the environment and poisoning the surrounding ecosystem.

My apologies, I thought you were refering the radioactive waste relocation initiatives.
Basically we pay other countries to bury our waste.
