What do you guys think about the premier? I noticed that Claire wasn't in the episode... was there something I forgot about the finale that would make her not be there? She wasn't on the raft was she?

No she wasn't on the raft. I don't think there was a particular reason she wasn't shown. IMO the episode was too Jack heavy. I mean he's already had 3 episodes! And some other characters have only had 1.

So what's with this underground fortress?!?!?!? And you know what - when Jack was exercising on the stadium steps and ran into the other guy and they started talking I yelled out "He's the guy in the hatch!" I just had a feeling. Their hair was similar and so was their lanky build. Plus the LOST writers do not introduce random characters for no reason...

And what's up with not knowing if Sawyer, Jin and Michael drowned...

That will be next week apparently. I don't think they drowned though, they're too important of characters.

Remember that this has to last over a couple, if not more, seasons. They can't just introduce everything on the first episode back...

They do have a lot of commercials but that's because it's one of ABC's few hits

At least ABC fixed its running time. They used to run it for 101 instead of 100 to throw off Tivos. It really pissed me off.

I think its going to be a great season... I'm just wondering if the creators are going to go the route of dividing up the island into rival factions, locke and jack or something. I think it may get to that, probably not for a season or so though.

Did anyone watch that Invasion show? Looks alright. Definatley not as addicting as LOST though.

I think this is a big scam where they keep on anwsering things then bring up for things to ask then they drag it out, And they are going to do this for like 20 years and the people will have kids and then they will be going threw this. LOL Just think if that happend!

Uhm... thats like the definition of a Drama television show... everything from Dawsons Creek to the Sopranos uses that formula.

As long as they dont bring back a reunion show, years later, with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I was wow'ing at the episode. To be honest I'm way beyond being a rabid fan, I just eat all of this up.

Also, for those who missed it...

Desmond was injecting himself with RX1 Serum # 4 8 15 16 23 42. Watch the first part of the show again and it's plain as day.

Something tells me this is a huge experiment of some kind.

Yah the intro was kind of important lol. We start with some guy (don't see his face) waking up to that garish music. He gets up, gets ready for the day, does some exercise, injects himself with steroids out a well stocked cabinet. Goes over to an ancient (80s at least?) computer and types in a command (which I will come back to) which seems to also be a part of his daily routine. Still we have not seen his face, only his scraggly long hair and lanky build. All of a sudden he hears something and arms himself with many guns, the last of which is a bazooka pointing down a hallway. We follow the hallway down to the point where it ends at a mirror... which pans up the shaft to the blown open [b445fccf2e0]hatch[/b445fccf2e0].

So there's a brief recap. I mentioned I would get back to the computer prompt - other sharp eyed viewers said that the command he typed in was, in fact, [i445fccf2e0]the dubious sequence of numbers![/i445fccf2e0]

Haha. I'm very into this show, it's my current favorite. One thing I love is that there are so many clues to discover and attempt to decipher...

Wow, that does seem important... but it totally didn't effect the show for me since it was just foreshadowing... except for the injecting stuff. I wonder what thats about. Oh by the way... the quarantine was on the inside of the hatch not the outside... so it was the island that was quarantined and not the guy in the hatch =) i can't wait for next wed.
