OMFG at the price of refferals

I thought stroid was just being a baby at first for complaining about refferal prices but its really getting insane.

A trade deal of mine just fell through because the guy wants "35-40$"
for freedesktoppc (btw the autovantage i want him to do costs 1$)
I think freedesktoppc will be the last site i ever offer money. I dont mind paying 25$ I can bear to pay 30$ but asking for anything more (unless its an OC site or casino site) is just plain greed.
I absoutely REFUSE to pay mroe than 30$ for ANY site with cheap trials and the like. WHOS WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D

LOL. I never understood why referral prices are so high either but then again I don't trade. If prices are too high then try something else to get referrals. It's not like thats the only option.

But yeah, more than $30 is probably too much unless its OC...when $60+++ is the average...

I rarely sign up for sites and when i do i take the highest ammount possible, but i usually pay near the highest going rate for ppl to do my site as well.

On a few legit sites, you can make $400 PayPal for 8 referrals; someone might find it worth it to pay $25/green for a relatively hassle-free profit of $200.

ummm its not like im the typical cheapo bitch with no money who offers 15$ a ref and cries when someone wants 20$ for a site. Its the sheer GREED of people that pisses me off. Ive done far too many sites to trade much now. Much like the other members with high TR....

I don't know why anyone would pay around the $30 range unless they were desperate for the last ref or something. Nothing is going to change unless a signifigant number of people stop spending that kind of money on a ref. It boils down to supply and demand.

I for one, am unwilling to spend more than $20-25 in any situation.

People are just getting more greedy with trying to make more money offer referals. I, as well as many, are guilty of it, but hey what can you do. (Is there something we can do?) Maybe cap the referal payment?

You can always use the money to try paid advertising. You don't even have to trade. I have heard many people gettting more then 2 greens for simply using about $50 to advertise their referral link. The best story I heard was someone finish freeflatscreens entirelly using just $40 to advertise along with a special promotion.

They'd pay the $30 because people usually wont except anything below, because they see another guy offering $29

Yea, paying isn't always the way to go....

For example, I got 4/5 freeipod refs from my blog and spent $12 on the last ref (it was a friend).

One of my friends finished freeipods mostly through a ad.

problem is most of us arent site owners dont have clever redirect links or have friends who are willing to be refferals. Which is why we are in this forum in the first place....

The guys said he had someone offering $45 but he was gonna do it for you for $35-$40? He's just trying to hustle you. I wouldn't trade with anyone telling me to "do the math".

If you have money to pay for referrals then you could use that money to advertise instead.

I have two clever redirects that get me about 6 hits per day. Not the best but not the worst.

Im thinking about leasing them for really cheap.

It's all because of supply and demand...

ive tried buying redirects from people who have really good ones that get TONS of yellows a day but they all want to give it to their friends and shite.. Advertising on a super high bandwidth site could end up being more expensive than just paying for refs....

I got $40 once for a third party site that had easy offers ($1) and credited quickly. I didn't complain, but I never asked for $40. That is what I was offered.
