I'm trying to decide whether to go for the $350 paypal or $375 amazon GC at 3604free. If you have a big GC and you use some it if, you can still save the rest for later right? And about how long are amazon GC's generally good for before they expire?

Well they definitely expire, since I sold a couple on eBay once and there was an expiration date. I just can't remember what year they all expired in.

They do expire, though it's usually not for quite a while (well over a year). You can apply the gift certificate to your account and if you have money left over after placing an order the remaining balance will be listed in your account.

In california its illegal for gift cards to expire. I dont think amazon is in CA though.
