I don't understand why this is abnormal. Happens all the time.

Maybe he shouldn't have set the shipping price at $8?

Oh snap my bad (
Anyways, its abnormal becuase look what they are paying! Hes even adding shipping, the fucking nerve. FUCK he even fucking lists the link in the auction, with his refferal link. Thats so dirty

I'm sure he doesn't expect payment. He just posted it to expose his link.

i bet that guy bet so much so he won't pay and instead the seller will incur more charges. and if the seller complains, the buyer can go to ebay and have the seller's account suspended. hehe.

Woah is he really going to get paid!?

goofygarber

14-09-2005 21:53:56

Legally, he has to be paid... but I'm guessing hes not going to sue anyone for not paying

I have one auction up for nano and it says in the first line "DO NOT BID ON THIS AUCTION" and it took a whole 10 minutes before it got bid on.

I wonder if Jake sees this, he'll put a stop to it. But is this even against the rules in any way? Interesting...

Might be against the rules to sell your referral link but not to advertise it.

May be considered spamming

There's a post about this every few months. And if you make an ebay auction (it doesn't matter for what) that says don't bid, they will close the auction. There's also people that love to hunt down auctions like that and report them to ebay so people can get their accounts suspended.

you are 100% right... i'm sure someone just bided his auction just to screw him.

why do you want to post on ebay??? it's easier to build a referral site. this way you don't go against ebay and gratis TOS.

Retro

yeah, to make him pay them pay the fees. it's not like they're gonna complain to ebay about not getting paid.

Oh that is simply teriffic... I honestly can't understand the logic of doing that... and then posting it here? Even better idea. <3 the internet.
