Im shopping for a new computer case fellas along with a bunch of other stuff because im building my own computer..the one i have now, with upgrades, is just still slow..

The question being where is a good place i can shop for cases? I dont want anything flashy but nothing plain-jane. I was looking into getting a somewhat smaller case but still has enough room for everything and some space for fans etc...iv seen ones that look like cubes and others that are just like smaller towers..any help?

OP, be more specific about what you want to do with your computer. If you want a gaming rig, you'll need a different case than if you want an internet word processing box. And to be frank for the price of dell deals these days (though I despise dell) if all you're doing is internet, then buy a dell for ~$350 and get a free 15-17" monitor too.

This computer will be for Media based stuff..ie Movies, storing video, music and picture files, browsing the internet and also online gaming. I already have a 120gb HD and a brand new Audio card all i need is a new graphics card, mobo, cpu and some other things. But as of right now im still looking for a case to get started..i could get a water cooled because i will be upgrading and upgrading the computer from time to time but dont want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on it..again, im looking for something different than the plain old tall tower..

As a computer tech...
i buy parts from www.pricewatch.com. Look vor Antec, they have nice PC cases. and 120gb HD? I think you will need more then that.

I recentcly bought an Aspire case off newegg. The power supply wasn't enough so i bought another bigger, quieter one. But i like the case alot.

I have an older Antec case (my computer is approximately 3 years old).

Go with aluminum, not steel (do they even make steel cases anymore??).

Oh and good luck with water cooling, I hear it's a blitch to setup.

I was looking at the Lian li and they look nice but im a really picky person when it comes to spending this much money..i was also looking at those Sonata 2s and they look nice but i dont like how it has a door on it for the drives..a no no..also, the slide up door where the ports are in front another no no..anything else?
