If your looking to play video games, dont get a plasma. (Burn in is most common with plasma)

You can ghetto it out with a broken backlight 15" LCD monitor and a school projector, which I plan to do soon.

Before you buy a tv I would research a lot about the differant inner workings on one.. Trust me it helps soo much on TVs and computers. http//www.altbinarieshdtv.com/phpBB2/ has some good articles, I plan to start researching a lot more about TVs soon when I get the money to buy one.

no no no. DLP (digital light projection) is the best way to go for ANY HDTV. Despite the size, it is cheaper and has the same, if not better quality, than Plasma. Samsung is the leading DLP (rear projection) manufacturer out there and they have the best products.

Trust me, I have done way too much research on this...

Some people like it but some others see rainbows during some scenes, but it doesnt leave burnin from video games ).

I saw this one at Best Buy a few weeks ago and even posted about it because the screen looked amazing with the 3,0001 contrast ratio.

DLP's picture looks gourgous, my dad almost bought one when we were at circuit city the other day, but we just blew 11 thousand on new laptops so he held off

my dad has two dlp2 tv's. One is a 62 in rear projection he got for 1700, the other is a projector.

Picture quality is amazing compared to other HDTV's

WAIT UNTILL BLACK FRIDAY OR DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS

fry's/outpost.com always have redicoulous deals on high def tvs, selling them at cost just to drive hundreds of people into the store.

im sure itll be true with best buy and everything else. If you buy one now, you will regret it once you see the prices in 3 months
