I'm thinking of starting a site.. does anyone have suggestions for scripts/advertisers?

I'm also thinking about starting a site, if you are instereted, I can host it and do various coding jobs if you can hook up the advertisers (clickbooth or whatever doesn't load for me)

"I need the codes, I can do the rest"...
Hahahahaha. shock
You need the "codes"? Do you know what language you wish to work with? Do you have any database software at your disposal? You can't just type in a code and have a site appear, dumbshit.

Get a freelancer to code it from the ground up in the beginning so you don't have to worry about it later on like the rest of us who bought premade scripts.

That's the best advice D

lol, a bunch of people read the totse scam thread and now everyone wants to start a site S S

goofygarber

Haha =P
I'm actually able to turn something like this into a reality, thats the difference.
Check out my hosting company, http//www.adeliciousmuffins.info
I've worked with and for some enormously profitiable websites, and I know how to turn this kind of thing into a business

shamash

10-09-2005 14:55:06

I don't want to make a scam, but a site where me and the other people make money 50/50.

Say I get paid 30 dollars for an offer, thye get 15. I want to make it so we both make a good chunk of dough.

goofygarber

Hey, I like that )
Its fair, and they only pay a couple bucks. I'm going to look into advertiser choices, and I might actually give programming a free site a try. I know I can do it, I just don't know if I have time this weekend

It would take more than a weekend to program a script like that. Or at least a solid one D

Maybe 30 days+.

shamash

Gatita, which script do you use?

tracemhunter

10-09-2005 15:07:49

the owner of logitech4free told me how he made the site. just a bunch of premade scripts that he edits. he says how on his forums i think.

lol...you realize you'll be lucky to make money off a site? You only make money if you get people who sign up get greens and don't finish, if you put people on hold, basically only if people never complete it. So if you get people to do your site and you send them gifts it's a slim to none chance of you making money. You're more likely to loose money.

I don't plan on having referrals be necessary. More like, complete an offer, and when I get paid for you completing it, you get half.

(
Its only until I think of a better name for the company itsself, when I started it it was only to provide for friends, but it grew quite a bit and I realized that I needed real presence. If you can think of a good hosting company name with ADM as the initials, I'd love to hear it.
I own four .comurl==http://=http:///url domains and three .neturl==http://=http:///url domains, as well as 2 .infourl==http://=http:///url domains, theres no shortage. adm.info was just an extra I had lieing around when I initially rented the server.

Thats actually an excellent idea... something like
"Video Professor"
If you complete this offer, we get $25, and we pay you $12

or something like that, so if they did like a hosting offer you could pay them like $30.

shamash

you dont offer much bandwidth

all my hosting is through powweb.com

EERS, but please go custom... PM me if you have any questions.

goofygarber

10-09-2005 15:15:56

All the plans purchased from me sofar are all custom, and they all take more bandwidth than those plans listed.
Remember though, my most expenive listed plan is less than powweb's basic (and only choice) for an entire year.

shamash

10-09-2005 15:17:08

powweb is only 7.77 a month, and always has a great free offer (like 2-6 months when you buy a year) available..

plus a free domain

a) Building your own script is the way to go. Its been an incredible amount of work but FusionCash is 100% original code and runs really smoothly. My administration tasks at this point are about 10 minutes a day of answering support tickets (don't even have to open email - its all on the admin section of the site). You can also code a TON of anti-fraud stuff which is a lot more important than you might think.

b) If you want some hosting, you can sign up through http//www.fusioncash.net and break even, usually.
