they're the best, in my opinion. because you can order the domain and forward it without paying extra. Any other place that does that either charges a little extra for the domain, or charges you for the service.

I'm not sure about 1and1.com since I have never used them. I would assume that they would let you forward it.

Also, if you buy a domain from go daddy, don't forget to enter DAVID in as a code and get $1 off your order.

yeah i actually just saw on 1and1 that you can redirect. i run a website myself and its only 5.99/domain from 1and1 plus i have all my domains in 1 package so it's easier for me..

i have 3 domains with godaddy now, two with yahoo since they had a $2 domain registration special the other day.

also... stupid GoDaddy is takin' forever to redirect! lol

when it does start re-directing, i'll take it out or something so people don't get mad at me.

You can easily re-direct any domain by making an index page with a very simple bit of javascript. If you need help just ask.

Just in case you didn't know or if anyone else thought that you had to pay extra. But you could do it in the meantime until they get their shit together. Don't want to miss out on those early referrals while the site's HOT. People will learn the correct domains soon enough. Just a suggestion, don't flame the noob. wink

yea well then i have to point them to my dns servers then park the domain at my DNS and then re-direct it... that takes just as long.

i cliked forward and entered in the urlfor it to be forwarded it too is that right? and do they have to review my account to put it up cause it just goes to error page cant be found

you login and go to Domains > My Domain Names

Then you put a check mark next to your domain, and hit the 'Set Locking' button, then unlock it. Then you hit 'Forward Domains' and enter your forwarding URL, aka your referral link.

Then hit 'Set Locking' and lock it.
