Why was the freepay scandal thread locked?

Was it because Jake didn't want to lose more face?

Here's a little time-line for anyone interested. (times are approximations)

1130pm - Scandal thread is created
1200 - Topic is locked until Jake is available to respond (Why? Because he's Jake!)
900am - locked topic is hidden completely until Jake has his rebuttle ready.
1100am - topic is unlocked, Jake replies with a bunch of nothing.
1101am - topic is relocked so no one can say anything more about the situation.

I have used this forum to help 6 people find trades for freeipods.com, basically acting as a middleman between the two.
Each green was completed by a unique individual with unique information, computers, internet access - the works.
Their greens passed the approval process because they were legit.

The only reason my coworker Jon has received Reds is because Jake is abusing his power as moderator on this forum. He went through my PMs and found which users I have traded with, and traced it back to Jon's LEGITIMATE account.

Some people want to make me out to be some sort of a scammer...I really dont mind getting in to all the trades I have done, but please - create your own specific thread addressing those issues/questions you may have.

This thread's specific purpose is to show that Jake has been using his position at freeipodguide to enable the company he works for to make more money. He claims otherwise, but has yet to show ANYTHING to refute my claims.

sweeed has posted twice about the known multiple accounts of wood. I know from personal experience that the macminime and alexvega addresses both belong to wood. So if there is one account on each of those at ANY freepay site (wood indicated that that was the case on both ipod and flatscreens), that's bad enough faith to justify reading every single one of your PMs and placing you on hold, as far as I am concerned.

Email addresses don't equal accounts. Simple as that.
Having people use an email address I have access to enables me to receive the "offer completed" emails without having to bug them about ref's going green or not.
As to how this is grounds for placing accounts on hold, I'm not quite sure...

My legitimacy as a trader should theoretically have no bearing on this topic. However we are all human and if I was an unethical jerk who wanted to look good for my boss, I suppose going through high-trader account PM's would be the first thing on my to-do list.

In fact, I just checked the logs, and (as he told me), he's used the PM reader ONCE in order to delete a PM that he didn't mean to send. That's right folks, the only time he's used it is to delete one of his OWN PMs.

You need to accept blame, and stop abusing Jake. YOU ARE IN THE WRONG. You have a real problem accepting your part in things when they go wrong (but are quick to trumpet your actions when they go right), and I'm sick of it. Where 1.2.3.4 is Jake's IP. That tells me every time he loaded the page and the parameters he sent it. Any other questions?
