My french is really bad and I want to improve it. I can't really speak it and can't listen to it.

So I'm looking for audio books on french learning books like Idiots guide to french and stuff like that.

Does anyone have any? Or know where I can bit torrent them?

Is that a crazy dialect totally different from regular French too? I don't think I have ever heard real Creole French.

There was an article in yesterday's Wall Street Journal that spoke highly of the Rosetta Stone programs. You've probably seen their kiosks in malls or airports. They try to avoid the complex, rule-based approach to grammar and usage that most language tutorials use, and instead use visual and audio media.

Problem is, they're upwards of $200...not sure where you can get your hands on them, but they sound great.

I took French for 8 years and lived in Paris for a year, and my French is still bad, so I'm interested in this too...

Yeah, I heard of those Rosetta Stone programs but they're just too expensive.

I just need to develop my listening and speaking skills and I think audio books might help.

I just hope I can survive IB French.
