Anybody think Music for Greens are fair trades, Read this..

Does anyone here think offering 3-4 cds for a green is a good trade? i dont no for people that dont no where to find music, the one trading the music could upload it for the other trader.. seeing that i have over 600 Hip/Hop - Rap Cds on my computer and 150 other cds.. that are mine, not including my bros selection.

if you have the original cd's then YES (and if those are the ones you are giving), if you are giving files from your PC, then NO

damn when i said upload i meant, sending them the files but, i mean they are the same just on your computer, you know what im saying.. and maybe it would be mroe fair if you gave them a selection of like 6-7 cds per green? they choose from all your cds.. you give them a list.. i dont no if somone offered me that i would love that... thats just cause i must like music more than you guys i guess.. but i can see from somone elses view...

I don't think anyone needs your files. I'm pretty sure nearly every CD anyone wants is online, legal or not.

Are you talking about DVD screeners or Cameras? Either way the quality isn't going to be great and wouldn't you rather just wait til they come out on DVD and pay a couple bucks to rent them. Or burn them after they are released.

Personally I hate watching pre"released" crap, the quality ruins the movie for me.


As to the music question... I doubt you'll find any takers but you can try... what might be a better deal is offering your whole music collection on a few DVDs. It's still illegal but it's much more fair.

The Red Eye i saw was pretty good quality.. definately didnt ruin anything IMO

red eye telecine is out. dvdscr isnt though. dvdscr's suck anyway. i only get dvd-r P

What is telecine exactly? Is that a camera copy? Like where someone goes into the theater and films?

And I've always assumed that DVD-R releases were just copies of DVD Screener discs, which don't really suck but haven't been fine tuned to look their best on your TV set.

Is DVD-R release something different?

dvd-r = retail dvd with certain things stripped (commentary, deleted scenes, etc)

dvd screener = what awards people get and has things such as watermarks (call 1-800-nocopys) and changes from color to black and white occasionally

telesync (ts) = lame cam stuff

telecine (tc) = the film digitall put on the computer some how.

Ah gotcha, so telecine would be the way to go when downloading pre dvd released movies. I haven't downloaded a movie in a long time and the last time I did all movies were either screeners or telesyncs.
