Internet Problem....any help?

I have been haveing some really annoying internet problems lately.

for example

I open firefox (or IE for that matter) and go to, "www.google.com" some times it works, and sometimes it just says "Done" on the bottom of the screen.

I always have to keep reloading the damn pages, until they work.

Any help?

Clearing your cache might help.

Tried that already, also, sometiems only about 75% of the images load.

Any other suggestions?

what kind of connection are you on?

Have you reset the router and modem lately? Linksys routers are known to be pretty crappy and need to be reset once in a while. Turn it off and let it sit for few minutes and then turn it back on.

I'm using a netgear, wired router. I'm on a Direcway satelite connection, and I'm about ready to kill something.

I thought it might be my router, so I plugged my comp directly into the direcway modem, and its the same thing.

If I had to guess, I would say its something with your connection, not your browser.

Yeah, its weird though, b/c on our other comp, everything is working fine cry

Probably something to do with the Sat connection. Satellites weren't really meant to be used for that kind of thing, whatever DirecTV tells you. I can understand using it though if you're out in the middle of nowhere and can't get cable or dsl.
