I know when I was in college all my comp sci and eng friends were raging potheads. i have to admit that I did my best programming work when I was high off my ass. At work I see less andless people who smoke everday but I do see many who smoke occasionally or just dont wanbt to admit it to their co workers that they are. All Im saying is Id be damned if B Gates and S Jobs werent raging potheads

ID say they should test drugs only for weed. If it comes back that you def smoke weed they should hire you on the spot with stock options and a buttload of benifits. If you smoke a lot they should give you a signing bonus and comp car.

Everyone should drug test. That'd make it much easier for people who take the hard road of staying sober (and staying away from weed is soooo hard) like me to get a job.
Damn, at work I have to manage people who get high before they come in... it's the worst situation in the world. High people are useless. So if you get high, don't go to work high.

Is that serious or sarcastic?

I disagree with your initial statement about everyone having to be tested.
But the last statement was very accurate and fair. Don't get high before going to work. Leave that for at home. And what happens at home is none of the employers business as long as it doesn't affect job performance.

Honestly though, you dont really act BAD when you are high. I can go to work to high, and do my job just as good as I could sober.

I've seen some people act really dumb while messed up so you can't just lump them into one group.
I have no problem with people getting high (its a matter of choice and I am all for freedom of choice) but I don't feel that the workplace is the place to do it.

One thing everyone should know is that they can't judge themselves when they are high. Ask a truthful friend at work if they can tell that you're high and see what they say.

Ya I agree entirely. I know I cant be around many co workers just blazed. They would definetely know. It would be in a corporate setting and Id have to act professionally. Id be lazy as hell. Think it works better that way anyways bc by the time you get home you appreciate your tokes more after a long day. At my last job the only time I puffed going into work was when I had to come back into the office at like 7 PM. I smoked my ass offf before I got in bc I knew I wouldnt have to deal with anyone. Besides that I was sober at work. If they had let me VPN into the system and let me work from home then I wouldve been high as hell everyday.
