Is the MB compatible with the chip?

Do you have an OS?

Did you use Arctic Silver?

Are you sure you got everything seated and fully connected?

Yes the chip and MOBO are compatable.

I have a windows CD in the drive, but nothing installed yet.

What is Artic Silver?

I rechecked every connection and everything already.

... did you forget to put in the 500 watt power supply? I have told you 1000 times... 20 watts is NOT enough!

Arctic Silver is a compound used to disperse heat from the CPU. It's muy importante, though likely not a reason you wouldn't POST.

I solved the problem. Posting this from my new computer. I had forgoten to plug in the 4 pin power to the mobo. Stupid me.

I used the thermal stuff that came with my Thermaltake CPU fan.

Ok, aside from calling him stupid (he did something stupid, it doesn't mean he's a stupid person, ahem) I laughed.

Shame on me. ;)
