I'm trying to re-install medal of honour allied assault, but its been a while since I last had it on this computer.

Now for some reason everytime I try to install it, it asks me to modify, repair or remove.......no matter which option I choose, as soon as i click next it tells me the installation process has finished, but it doesn't even instal anything.

I've checked and there are no installation folders, no leftover files, I've cleaned out all the junk files and the registry and still nothing. I just installed another game a couple of days ago fine. (

any ideas?

go to "add or remove programs" in your control panel and then uninstall it that way )

theres nothing there to uninstall.....its not on the computer, at least from what i can see....not in program files, not in add-remove programs....nowhere.

thats what i dont get.....it was uninstalled a while ago, now when i try to re-install it, its telling me its still on the computer.

That's awesome. I wish my gf would play. I played the first H&D a lot but I never played the second, although I have it.

AA is a free online shooter made by the US army. You should download it and try it out. Your wife can play too if you guys get on the same server.

were you using a crack or something like that?

I don't play it anymore (to old) but I had that problem before, try deleting every single file that was installed (everything) and then try installing again - if you can try installing on a different place

Thats why, the original file was replaced with that one, try deleting all the files - and then install again (on a different folder)

OK, it's an installshield prob. You have to look in C\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information and look for {0DEA94ED-915A-4834-A87E-388D012C8E02} (it might be hidden so make sure explorer shows system files). Delete it. You can also look in registry for the same entry and delete those too. It should work.
