So I signed up for the "Passport to Fun" offer on a freepay site this morning.
I got the confirmation email a few hours later, and it contained the directions regarding how to get my $25 gift card.
I clicked on the link, and signed in using my info (membership # and zip code) and it takes me to this "TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP AND MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT" form.
I'm wondering...why do I need to accept more terms and what not when I already signed up.
This just seems like a really sly way for getting me to push "agree" and accept $xxx.xx charges on my credit card...all for the sake of redeeming a $25 gift card.
Has anyone done this site yet?
It's run by DEALPASS, same company that does the KMART gift card offer (who also makes u agree to this same long agreement)
Any advice info would be greatly appreciated )

why dont you just read the terms? ?
Click the link and look how long it is.
Plus, i'm not sure what all that legal babel means (well, not really anyway).
It just seemed easier, and smarter, to ask you guys, rather than assume I know what I am agreeing to, and have to fight a $100 charge two months down the line.

I always hate those sly offers too.
The ones with the clickboxes checked for other 1 day free subscriptions. I'd say do as little as you think is necessery
I think they're the same people who do the Wal-mart card. I keep hearing that the card doesn't arrive until the trial is up. Not only that, first they send you something you need to fill out, like a survery, and you have to mail it back before they send you the card. Also, you need to be enrolled in their plan during the time you request your card. That might be what they might be getting you to sign up for...
